| 사업내용 | 네팔 의료진과 협업하여 현지의 병원감염 관리 시스템 및 감염병 진료와 대응 역량 향상을 위해 병원감염관리 워크숍을 진행하고 있습니다. 뿐만 아니라, 현지 병원감염관리 시스템 운영 현황을 파악하여 나타나는 문제점에 대한 피드백을 제공하고, 이를 통해 장기적으로 네팔 현지 상황에 적합한 병원감염 시스템을 모색하는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다. 1. Background / objectives - The April 2015 Nepal earthquake gave a significant challenge to the JW LEE CGM's partner hospital in Nepal, Dhulikhel Hospital (DH). A total of 2,003 emergency patients were exposed to unsanitary space causing hospital-acquired infection problems. Appropriate hospital infection control was not present at the moment; therefore patients infected by hospital-acquired infection increased. - DH became aware of the importance of hospital infection prevention and control (HIPC) system, utilizing proper use of antibiotics in surgery and medical practice. - In request of DH, JWLEE CGM initiated HIPC education programs with professionals from Korea. The annual workshop and invitational training for Nepal medical staff were held, and continuous HIPC consultation continues after the education programs for follow-up. - Through the HIPC education programs, JW LEE CGM hopes to contribute to the development of HIC guideline for DH and to establish a HIPC system throughout Nepal as a long-term goal to reduce the incidence rate of HIC in Nepal hospitals. 2. Partnership - Nepal: Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital 3. ACTIVITIES AND OUTPUT 1) The 1st Invitational Training - Purpose: Education program for Dulikhel Hospital medical staffs to establish hospital infection control system - Period: 2016. 3. 5~2016. 4. 4 - Training Organization: Seoul National University Hospital - Participants: Infection Control Nurse and Matron - Data: Trainee information, pre-post knowledge evaluation score and feedback 2) The 1st Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Workshop - Purpose: Increasing the knowledge of hospital infectious disease management to local medical staffs - Date: 2017. 12. 9~2017. 12. 10 - Venue: Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital - Number of Participants: ~100 Medical staffs - Data: Participant information, satisfaction score and feedback 3) The 2nd Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Workshop - Purpose: Increasing the knowledge of hospital infectious disease management to local medical staffs - Date: 2018. 11. 4~2018. 11. 5 - Venue: Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital - Number of Participants: ~ 85 Medical staffs - Data: Participant information, satisfaction score, pre-post test score and feedback 4. Future Plans and expectation - To improve the current HIC training program, JW LEE CGM will conduct evaluation research for 2018 HIC Workshop. - DH and JW LEE CGM will hold the 3rd HIPC Workshop in October 2019 targeting medical doctors. - For continuous consultation, JW LEE CGM and DH are currently developing telemedicine in the management of HIPC. - With evaluation, feedback and discussion, JW LEE CGM and DH will establish the most suitable HIPC model. |
| 주요활동 | 현지 요청에 따라 네팔 둘리켈병원의 의료진들의 감염병 진료역량 강화 및 병원감염 관리 매뉴얼 개선을 위해 매년 현지 워크숍 프로그램을 실시하고 있습니다. 워크숍은 현지 상황 공유 발표와 한국 의료진의 강의, 질의응답 및 토론으로 구성되어 있으며, 만족도 조사 및 강의 전후 퀴즈를 통해 워크숍을 통한 관련 지식 향상도를 파악하여 워크숍 효과 평가 및 개선에 힘쓰고 있습니다. |
