사업내용	1. Background / objectives - In Vietnam, injury is the leading cause of death in children under 18, road traffic accidents are the fifth leading cause of death and information systems for pre-hospital trauma care are insufficient. So, with government support, Military Hospital 175 is constructing a trauma center that will be in charge of injuries in Ho Chi Minh City. - Military Hospital 175 requested consultation and education program for the medical staff to improve the quality of the trauma patient treatment before the completion of the trauma center in September 2019. - JW LEE CGM teamed up with professors from the Department of Orthopedics, Plastic surgery, and Reconstructive burn and held workshops in Vietnam and invitational training with continuous consultation for the follow-up. - Through the education program, the Military Hospital 175 trauma center was able to be constructed with rigorous plans for facilities, equipment, and operation rooms. Furthermore, the improvement of trained medical staff’s operation skills will contribute to lowering the injuries mortality rate in Vietnam. 2. partnership - Vietnam: Military Hospital 175, Ho Chi Minh City 3. activities and output 1) The 1st High Quality of Trauma Center and Trauma Care Program in Vietnam - Purpose: Conceptualizing trauma center for Vietnamese medical staff and improving medical treatment technique - Date: 2016. 7. 18~2016. 10. 14 - Training Organization: Seoul National University Hospital, Daejeon Eulji Medical Center, Gachon Gil Medical Center - Participants: Four Medical staffs - Data: Trainee information, feed back 2) The 2nd High Quality of Trauma Center and Trauma Care Program in Vietnam - Date: 2017. 6. 30~2017. 9. 25 - Training Organization: Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Daejeon Eulji Medical Center - Participants: Three Medical staffs - Data: Trainee information, feed back 3) The 1st Vietnam Trauma Care Competency Development Workshop - Date: 2018. 7. 21 - Venue: Military Hospital 175 - Participants: ~70 - Data: Participant information, course evaluation, feedback 4) The 3rd High Quality of Trauma Center and Trauma Care Program in Vietnam - Date: 2018. 8. 20~2018. 11. 14 - Training Organization: Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital - Participants: Five Medical staffs - Data: Trainee information, feed back 4. Future Plans and expectation - Evaluation research was conducted through course evaluation and satisfaction surveys at the 2018 workshop and interviews with medical staff who participated in invitational training program from 2016~2018. - The data collected at the 2018 workshop and invitational training program will be analyzed to evaluate the program. - The 4th Invitational Training Program will be held from July to September 2019. - JW LEE CGM will hold the 2nd Strengthening the Trauma Care Competency Development Workshop in September 2019 - With evaluation results of past program, feedback and discussion, JW LEE CGM and Vietnamese hospitals will develop the most suitable trauma care model.
